In-Game

[ I ] · 8 entries
I-01New Life RulePerma-loss

Should you die in any situation, your character does not remember the cause of death nor the events that lead up to death. You may not return to the place of death for at least 30 minutes. If there is an ongoing firefight you are prohibited from returning even after the 30 minute period has passed. You may not return to loot your own body.

I-02Combat Logging

Under no circumstance should you log out during a firefight, RP situations of any sort or to avoid environmental hazards. Players must remain in-game for at least 15 minutes after any situation that resulted in player related hostilities. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a character inventory wipe.

  • To help with reports on combat loggers, players should type something simple in text chat (example, ".") at the time the combat log occurs. This helps staff track potential culprits easier.
I-03Metagaming

The utilization of any information gained unfairly or illegitimately is strictly forbidden. This includes utilizing discord DMs as an "external" PDA.

I-04Powergaming

Players may not use any form of powergaming to gain an advantage or give an unfair experience to others. Examples can include forcing unfair/excessive permanent scarring of others (IE: chopping arms, legs off) that would render the character useless.

  • Exceptions to excessive perma-scarring can be bypassed with CKing/PKing the player where or when a PK/CK makes sense.
I-05KOS — Kill on Sight

With the exception of Territory Warfare and Monolith versus STALKERs (and vice versa) within Pripyat, kill on sight between players and factions is not permitted on the server.

I-06No Value for LifeNVL

Players should at all times value their own lives as well as their hostages and victims. Instances of NVL that result in your death will be punishable by a negligent PK which results in you losing your character and everything tied to it (e.g. money, gear etc.). Examples of negligent PKs can include but are not limited to:

  • Fighting back or fleeing when outnumbered greatly where it results in the player (you) dying.
  • Attempting to rob someone with only a spawn/anorak kit when the target has a better kit, resulting in the aggressor (you) dying.
  • General disregard for life as a hostage, giving excessive backchat and lack of RP (e.g. no pain, no fear RP) resulting in the hostage (you) dying.
  • Monolith does not need to value their lives. In turn, players do not need to value their lives against Monolith, nor value Monolith members' lives.
  • Faction members have NVL perms in and around the near vicinity of their base.
  • Players must be left with the means to survive after being released. If the player had any of the below items, they should be left with: a working gas mask and filter; a geiger counter; a gun with the compatible ammunition; at least half of their radiation medication and general medication; food and drink.
I-07Double-Mic

Players must have a working radio with battery in-game to be permitted to double-mic. Double-micing is the act of utilizing the in-game voice chat with discord voice chat. All double-mic chatter used on the server must be purely IC. Any OOC chatter to gain an advantage will be considered metagaming and punishable. Players may not utilize discord voice if they are unconscious, dead, their hands are tied or hands are up.

I-08Microphone

Players are required to have a working microphone on the server.

Roleplay

[ R ] · 13 entries
R-01No ERPZero tol.

There is absolutely zero tolerance for ERP (Erotic Roleplay) on the server.

R-02Stay In-Character

Players must remain in-character at all times while on the in-game server. This means zero OOC chatter (including text) whilst in-game.

R-03Poor RP

Instances of poor RP that do not adhere to the setting of the server will be subject to punishment. Examples of such can be, but are not limited to:

  • Referencing memes from the current date.
  • General trolling and immature behaviour.
  • Robbing players with minimal interaction.
  • Refusing to communicate with players in any way that attempt to engage you.
R-04Hostile Initiation

To initiate a valid hostile action, players should make it apparent to their target with either a clear verbal demand or an obviously implied threat on the player's life.

  • Standard initiations require you to give the player 10 seconds to comply. The moment they go against your demands is the moment they forfeit the 10 second window.
  • Buttstocking is not considered a valid initiation.
  • Sniper initiations are not valid; have a sniper in the back and start shooting after a valid initiation.
  • Loners travelling with faction members must wear the corresponding patch/armband of said faction to share initiation rights, otherwise they must initiate separately.
R-05Defensive Kill Rights

Defensive kill rights are shared between members of the initiated party, including those in the near vicinity but not in line of sight or audio range.

  • A firefight is considered over when one party is left standing or if hostilities have ceased after 30 minutes.
  • A hostile RP situation is considered over after the victim(s) are released and 30 minutes have passed.
R-06Value Your Life

Players should act realistically when required to value their lives during a hostile situation. This means that if the player is captured or tortured they should act accordingly and fear for their lives and roleplay out any pain or injuries they are subjected to.

R-07AOID

AOID (Assault on Identification) is the act of correctly identifying an enemy player while three-pipping a hostile statement before opening fire and attempting to kill them. AOID is permitted depending on who you are aligned with and who is considered hostile/enemy to you according to the AOID chart. Wearing the armband of a faction's colours marks you for AOID of their respective enemies.

R-08Voice ID

You may only voice ID a player if they are a member of a faction or someone you are friendly with/close to on an IC level. Voice ID is not permitted for hostile interactions unless the target player is a deserter of a faction or group, or the target player is marked for PK by a specific group, faction or player. Punishing a player for not doing an accent is not permitted.

R-09Face ID

Face ID is not permitted on the server unless:

  • The target player has been photographed without a facemask on and added to a faction database.
  • The target player is marked for PK by a specific group, faction or player.
  • To ID a player by facial recognition, the player must not be wearing any face coverings. Once face coverings have been removed, the target may be ID'd via the aforementioned circumstances.
R-10Loot Cycling

Under no circumstance is it permitted to loot cycle an area. Loot cycling is the act of going to a specific area such as a POI or Lab, clearing it out of mutants, stashes, anomalies etc. and logging off in the area only to log back in later to repeat the action after things have respawned. This is not to be confused with powerfarming.

R-11Patches

Players may not take others' patches when they are still alive. This means no collection of pristine patches.

R-11Suit stealing

Under no circumstance are you allowed to steal or strip suits from players before killing them. Bypassing the ruin on death function tied to suits is considered AOGM and poor sportsmanship.

R-12Discrimination

No racism, excessive bigotry or prejudice. While this is a harsh environment, we expect you to act realistically and not use excessive hate in any situations. Staff will determine what is deemed excessive.

R-13Sportsmanship

Strive for good sportsmanship. All players are held to the highest standard regardless of affiliation. Examples of poor sportsmanship can range from killing players who are clearly loading in after crashing, removing boots for silence during a firefight, exit/entry TP camping or 0-pipping in a firefight. Cases of poor sportsmanship are determined by staff discretion and can be subject to punishment.

  • Note that there is no group cap on the server for faction members or loners alike. Utilize this maturely and in good faith/sportsmanship.

C-01Reporting

If you witness a rulebreak or instance of poor roleplay, open a ticket and provide video evidence of the encounter along with your steam 64 ID and/or in-game name.

C-02Reverts

If you fell victim to a legitimate rule break that resulted in your death or loss of gear, an unedited video with audio of the situation must be provided, you must respawn and your character state will be reverted to the last time you died. Provide a timestamp of when you died to the staff team.

C-03Compensation

If you are in a situation where compensation can be given, you must provide an unedited clip including audio to be eligible.
